An Administration Clerk is wanted at High Court: Mthatha in Eastern Cape by the Office of the Chief Justice. The salary for this position is R173 703 per annum. The successful candidate will be subjected to sign a performance agreement.
REQUIREMENTS
An applicant must have a grade twelve (12) certificate or a higher qualification. Experience ranging from zero to two (2) years will be considered a plus. Competencies and Skills: Skills in planning and organizing. Skills in problem-solving and analysis. Time management is an important skill. Client-centered and client-oriented. Writing a report. Communication is essential (written and verbal). Literacy on the computer (MS Office). Pay close attention to the details. Interpersonal skills are important. Flexible and initiative-driven.
DUTIES
Prepare the courtroom before to the start of the hearing. On CRT machines, accurate recording of cases in court/court procedures. Ensure safekeeping of the Court’s documents and CDs are. Court hearings on CDs can be downloaded. Ascertain that proper filing is completed. Compile statistics on a daily basis. In circuit courts, provide administrative support (eg completion of J49 to confirm court attendance of witnesses) Assist with any additional duties assigned by the Supervisor/Court Manager.
