An executive housekeeper who will oversee all cleaning duties at a busy hotel is needed by our customer in the hospitality sector.
Remuneration: The successful candidate will get paid a salary of R25 000 per month (depending on the experience and qualifications that they have).
Tasks and Accountabilities:
- Supervise the housekeeping staff’s daily cleaning tasks.
- Make sure cleaning employees provide their clients with pleasant, professional service and are always appropriately attired.
- Engage in productive face-to-face interactions with every member of the cleaning staff.
- Coordinating and informing the resident manager of any spaces in need of decoration.
- Assure that all areas adhere to the company’s and legal requirements for hygiene.
- To guarantee the regularity of evacuation and fire exercises.
- To be knowledgeable about every health and safety precaution.
- Verify that housekeeping materials and equipment are distributed to the different departments within the organization, ordered, and kept appropriately.
- Take part in setting up the daily schedules for all regions’ cleaning.
- Verify the duty rosters in the designated locations, make sure there is coverage, and keep an eye on absence and timekeeping.
- Contribute effectively in in-person meetings with every member of the cleaning crew.
- Determining training and development needs in addition to hiring requirements.
