Eskom is offering exciting Artisan Learnership opportunities for unemployed youth who are eager to develop their skills and gain valuable hands-on experience. This is a four-year training programme that combines both institutionalized and on-the-job training, culminating in the opportunity to attain a Trade Test Certificate.

About the Programme:

The Artisan Learnership is a four-year programme, where successful applicants will receive a stipend according to Eskom’s policies and procedures. As part of this learnership, you will be required to sign a four-year internship contract, which includes both theoretical and practical training in your chosen trade.

1. Fitter and Turner Learnership
   • Requirements:
     • Technical Grade 12 with Maths 50%, Physical Science 50%, and English 40%
     • Or N3 Mechanical Engineering with Maths 50%, Physical Science 50%, and English 40%
     • Or NCV Level 4 with Maths 50%, Physical Science 50%, and English 40%
2. Electrical Learnership
   • Requirements:
     • Technical Grade 12 with Maths 50%, Physical Science 50%, and English 40%
     • Or N3 Electrical Engineering with Maths 50%, Physical Science 50%, and English 40%
     • Or NCV Level 4 with Maths 50%, Physical Science 50%, and English 40%
3. Rigger Learnership
   • Requirements:
     • Technical Grade 12 with Maths 50%, Physical Science 50%, and English 40%
     • Or N3 Mechanical Engineering with Maths 50%, Physical Science 50%, and English 40%
     • Or NCV Level 4 with Maths 50%, Physical Science 50%, and English 40%
